MilkMade is a mobile application operated by AppyFox (“we”, “us”, “our”).

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Australia).

By using MilkMade, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Overview

MilkMade is designed so that baby tracking information entered into the App is primarily stored locally on your device.

Certain information may be processed by third-party service providers to support content delivery, advertising, purchases, and App functionality as described in this Privacy Policy.

MilkMade:

  • Does not require an account

  • AppyFox does not directly track users or link baby tracking information to a user's identity.

  • Does not link any data to your identity

  • Does not transmit personal information to our servers

2. What is Personal Information?

“Personal information” means information or an opinion that identifies an individual or could reasonably identify an individual.

This may include names, photos, notes, or other personal records entered into the App.

3. Information You May Enter

You may choose to enter information into the App, including:

  • First name

  • Baby information (e.g., height, weight, feeding and pumping data)

  • Photos

  • Notes and tracking data

This information:

  • Is stored only on your device

  • Is not transmitted to us

  • Is not accessible by us

  • Is not shared with third parties

We do not have the ability to view, access, or recover this data.

4. App Permissions

MilkMade may request access to certain device features, such as:

  • Photo library (to allow you to upload images)

These permissions are used solely to enable App functionality.


We do not access, collect, transmit, or store this information outside of your device.

You can manage app permissions through your device settings.

5. No Account or Server Storage

  • No sign-up or login is required

  • We do not store your data in the cloud

  • We do not maintain user databases

  • We do not have access to your personal information

All data remains stored locally on your device.

6. Photos

If you upload photos:

  • They are stored locally on your device

  • We do not access, collect, or share them

  • They are not transmitted outside your device

You are responsible for managing and backing up your photos.

7. Payments

MilkMade is available as a one-time purchase through platform providers such as the Apple App Store.

Payments are processed by the platform provider. We do not collect or store:

  • Credit card details

  • Billing information

  • Payment information

Please refer to the platform provider’s privacy policy for information on how they handle payment data.

8. Third-Party Services

MilkMade uses certain third-party services to support App functionality, content delivery, advertising, analytics, and in-app purchases.

These services may collect, process, or receive limited information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Third-party services used by MilkMade may include:

Supabase

We use Supabase to host and deliver educational articles and other App content.

Google AdMob

The free version of MilkMade may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob.

Google AdMob may collect certain information from your device, including device identifiers, approximate location information, advertising identifiers, and information relating to ad performance and interactions.

Information collected by Google is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Apple StoreKit

We use Apple's StoreKit framework to process in-app purchases and subscriptions.

Purchase transactions are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment card information.

Information relating to purchases may be collected and processed by Apple in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy.

We encourage users to review the privacy policies of any third-party providers whose services are used within the App.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage and validate in-app purchases, subscriptions, and purchase entitlements.

When you make a purchase or restore previous purchases, RevenueCat may receive limited information related to your transaction, such as your App Store account transaction data, anonymous device identifiers, and subscription status. RevenueCat does not receive or store your payment card information.

RevenueCat processes this information solely to provide purchase validation, subscription management, and entitlement synchronization across your devices.

Information collected by RevenueCat is governed by RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.

9. Data Security

Because your data is stored locally on your device:

  • Security depends on your device’s protections (e.g., passcode, biometrics, device encryption)

  • We recommend keeping your device secure and backed up.

We are not responsible for unauthorised access to your device.

10. Data Loss

We are not responsible for any loss of data stored on your device, including if:

  • The App is deleted

  • Your device is lost, stolen, damaged, or reset

  • Your device experiences software failure

  • You uninstall or reinstall the App

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups.

11. Children’s Privacy

MilkMade is intended for use by adults (parents and caregivers).

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Any child-related information entered into the App remains stored locally on the user's device. Certain third-party services described in this Privacy Policy may process limited technical information in connection with App functionality, advertising, or purchases.

12. International Use

MilkMade is available globally. By using the App, you acknowledge that your data remains stored on your device regardless of your location.

We do not disclose baby tracking information entered into the App to overseas recipients. Certain third-party service providers described in this Privacy Policy may process information in multiple jurisdictions in accordance with their own privacy policies.

13. Advertising and Advertising Consent

The free version of MilkMade may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising partners, including Google AdMob.

These advertising providers may collect, process, and use certain information, including:

  • Device information

  • Device identifiers

  • Advertising identifiers

  • Approximate location information

  • Information relating to ad impressions, performance, and interactions

  • Technical information about your device and App usage

This information may be used to:

  • Deliver advertisements

  • Measure advertising performance

  • Improve advertising services

  • Personalise advertising where permitted by applicable law and your device settings

Where required by applicable laws, including privacy and data protection laws, MilkMade or its advertising partners may request your consent before collecting or processing information for advertising purposes.

You may be able to manage advertising preferences, tracking permissions, or consent settings through your device settings or platform privacy controls.

Advertising-related information collected by Google AdMob is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and applicable Google advertising policies.

The paid version of MilkMade may provide an ad-free experience.

14. Your Rights

Because we do not collect, store, or process your personal information externally:

  • We cannot access your data

  • We cannot modify your data

  • We cannot delete your data

  • All data control remains with you on your device

If you wish to delete your data, you may delete the App from your device.

Where information is collected or processed by third-party providers such as Google or Apple, your rights relating to that information may also be governed by the privacy policies and settings provided by those third parties.

16. Changes to This Policy

Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.

17. Subscriptions and Purchases (RevenueCat)

MilkMade uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions.

When you make a purchase or subscribe through the App, RevenueCat may collect and process information necessary to validate and manage your subscription. This may include:

  • Anonymous app user identifiers generated by RevenueCat.

  • Subscription and purchase status.

  • Product purchased.

  • Transaction dates and renewal information.

  • Device and platform information (such as iOS or Android).

  • App version and technical information required to provide subscription services.

MilkMade does not receive or store your full payment card details. Payments are processed securely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

We use this information solely to:

  • Verify purchases.

  • Unlock premium features.

  • Restore purchases across your devices where applicable.

  • Manage subscriptions.

  • Improve the reliability of our subscription services.

RevenueCat processes this information on our behalf in accordance with its own Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for further information about how your data is handled.

We do not sell subscription or purchase information to third parties.
